Wasatch Passessearch

About this site

Wasatch Passes covers four Wasatch corridors the way drivers actually use them: Parleys Canyon on I-80, Little Cottonwood Canyon on SR-210, Big Cottonwood Canyon on SR-190, and SR-224 into Park City. Every corridor gets the same treatment: a live verdict first, cameras in driving order, the traction posting in plain language, roadside weather, and deep local writing underneath for the questions a dashboard cannot answer.

All road, weather station, event, and camera data comes from UDOT Traffic, the traveler information service of the Utah Department of Transportation, and UDOT is credited on every page that uses it. Town forecasts come from the National Weather Service. This site is a Bright Red Design publication and is not an official UDOT site; for official closures and restrictions, UDOT Traffic is the authority and roadside signs outrank the internet.

The founding rule of the network this site belongs to: a conditions site that guesses is worse than one that says it does not know. When the live feed is down or a value is missing, our pages say so in plain words rather than filling the gap. The public status history exists so that rule can be checked, by anyone, at any time.
